Portraits & Live Music.
Chicago is commonly known among touring and local musicians as one of the finest places in the world to perform live music. If you can be patient, any act you want to see will likely pass through the city, and if you are lucky they may even do so more than once a year. The bedrock community of independent musicians make up a tremendously important component of the local economy and cultural experiences. The musicians and artists of Chicago will forever have my heart.

Historic Architecture, Chicago & Beyond.
My father is an architectural historian, with a love of the city we call home. From an early age, I have been enamored with the city’s historic buildings, both the ornate and the vernacular. Their preservation is integral to understanding the history of this region, and it’s culture. As these buildings rapidly age and dilapidate, they are routinely demolished to make way for new construction, and the history held by their design and craftsmanship is lost to the world forever. I encourage all who enjoy the tapestry of chicago’s brick and stonework to become involved in the preservation of historic buildings in whatever way they can.
